Mário and Rick, who had played together in then-recently-split-up Ravensire, decided to record some covers for fun and
invited Vasco to play drums. Mário had a few original songs he wanted to record and so Rage and Fire was born.

A delightful spellbook transporting you into Iron Griffin’s doomed fantasy world! The record shines with lo fi enthusiasm for the best spirit of magical metal and exemplifies excellent interesting progressive folk melodies, interwoven with acoustic and heavier electric instruments as well as diverse percussion instruments. The melodic twists and turns are very fun and really take you along for the ride. Above all, Iron Griffin have forged their own identity in their songwriting. Well done!
